Federal Political Director

AANA's Mid-Year Assembly (MYA) is our annual advocacy event in Washington, D.C. that consists of three conference days, followed by a day of meeting with legislators and their staff. NYSANA's Federal Political Director (FPD) organizes and prepares NYSANA members who will be attending MYA, many of who are RRNAs. Chair Brett Young is looking for one or two members to volunteer in this work, who may also be interested in being trained up to be a future FPD/Co-FPD; the work requires attention to detail and organization. Time commitment in the first year would be 2-5 hours per week for the four weeks leading up to MYA (4/25-4/28). This volunteering is particularly rewarding if you attend MYA but attending is not a requirement in this role.
