Advocacy Day 2023Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in Albany, NYAdvocacy Day will be held on May 9, 2023, and we are asking you to join us in Albany to make our voices heard and ask for your legislators’ support. Please register by April 7, 2023 to let us know you will be joining us. Our Government Relations team will set up meetings for you with your State Senators and Assemblymembers. Please plan to be available between 9:00AM and 3:00PM. We will reach out with more information and a schedule about a week prior to the event. About the meetings with legislators. In these meetings, you will talk about the legislative priorities and agenda for the association and the profession. Specifically, this year, we will be discussing our scope of practice bill and the need to get this bill done this session. As constituents and voters, it is important for our elected officials to hear from us about the Nurse Anesthesia profession. We need to share our story and explain why it’s important to support pro-CRNA legislation. It is only then will we be able to make change to increase access to care and surgical services for the communities we serve. Please contact [email protected] with questions.
