NYSANA Events
Throughout the year NYSANA offers a variety of different ways, in person and virtual, to gather and connect with fellow members! For current dates, visit our Events CalendarEducational Meetings & OpportunitiesNYSANA hosts a state-wide educational meeting in the fall and a virtual research symposium in the spring. Companies interested in sponsoring or exhibiting these meetings, please visit our become a sponsor page to learn about opportunities. Educational District EventsThe NYSANA membership is comprised of six Educational Districts. Educational Districts bring the association’s mission, vision, and goals to individual members at the District level through educational programs and serve as members' liaisons to Board. Educational districts typically hold 1-2 events a year and can range from a half-day educational series to a dinner outing supported by an outside sponsor. In-district events are a great way to network with colleagues from your immediate area and keep up to date with what’s going on around your region and throughout the state. Often times a NYSANA board member will be present to provide a NYSANA update, answer questions, and collect feedback from members. We are in need of people to organize these events, with full support of NYSANA management company. If you'd like to get involved, learn more about the districts and the chairpersons. Advocacy DayAdvocacy Day is typically held on a Tuesday in the spring. Watch your email and the event calendar for upcoming dates. The date is planned for when our legislators are able to focus on individual pieces of legislation that have been introduced in the state. It is a day dedicated to making our voices known and asking for our legislators’ support. Check out our calendar for all upcoming events! |
