MODERNIZED BYLAWS PROPOSAL

NYSANA’s bylaws are the foundation of how we function as a professional association. After a comprehensive review with governance experts, including the AANA State Government Affairs Director, our parliamentarian, and our New York State Not-for-profit Law Legal Counsel, the board is proposing a set of modernized bylaws to ensure NYSANA can operate efficiently, transparently, and in full legal compliance.

All voting members are encouraged to attend the Special Meeting of the Membership on May 2, 2026 at 10:00AM via Zoom. Following a brief NYSANA update, NYSANA members will discuss and hold a vote on proposed revised bylaws. This meeting will be held during the Virtual Research Symposium
